Caleb got BRACES!!!!

 On the way to the orthodontist.....

 Came out with AU colored braces....alternating orange & blue

In a few weeks, he will get the ones on the bottom. You should see the list of things he CANNOT eat! Things have changed since I had braces way-back-when!

Rylee turns 10 years old

My baby has turned 10 years old. Boy, how time flies.....Rylee got a Kindle Fire, a game for his Xbox, and a Case knife from us. This was the first time he had EVER had a spend-the-night party. He invited four of his buddies to stay the night.....Well, they stayed UP all night long.

 Started the night with a quick visit to the park......

Dirty Job

Dirty Job BUT somebody had to do it.....glad it wasn't me! Caleb helped Taulbe cut the grass, and he got just alittle dirty in the process! Dusty from head to toe.....that just shows ya how dry it is in these parts.....need to do an Indian rain dance!

FBC Ladies Night 2012

 My dear friend, Charlotte, invited me to her church's first ever Ladies Night Supper. Each table was decorated with a different theme and beautifully decorated. We were treated with a delicious meal, inspirational speaker, and singing by her talented sister, Diane Rogers.

Caleb turned 14

 Caleb had some friends over for a spend the night party. That night, we roasted marshmellows and hotdogs.....stayed up WaaaaaY too late......had a good ole' time! The next morning, I fed the "bottomless pits" then off to the train tracks and to the creeks!  In the above pic, Bleu and Caleb swam across the creek to the other side to a little "island". They were sooo proud of their accomplishment! :)

Just a beautiful spring day.....three kids willing to pose.....a mom/aunt willing to snap away with camera......what more could ya ask for?????

Inital Burlap Wreath

The supplies needed to make a burlap wreath that is ALL the BuZZ around blogland! I had to make another trip to Michaels to get one more roll of burlap ribbon. Took about 2 hrs to achieve the finished product......which I LOVE!!!! Hard to explain how to do it! Make sure you use different size loops when pooking thru the rings of the wreath. You want the loops to be different sizes and going in different directions (or I did anyway). When you start and finish with a roll of burlap, tie it off with wire. I used 2 1/2 rolls of burlap. I attached the B using some twine I had on hand. I spent about 17.00 bucks making my wreath. I had two 40% coupons from Michaels which I applied towards the ribbon.

I LOVE the natural look of the wreath. Love using burlap around the house! Happy Wreath Making!
