This bell cloche was a steal at Hobby Lobby for 2 bucks! I filled the little cutie pie with acorns from our backyard and place it on a brown transferware saucer.
This was a birthday gift last year from my sister-in-law. I filled it was faux pears, and I changed it out according to the seasons.
This apothecary jar was a birthday gift from my moma....it was a steal for 10 bucks at TJMaxx. I filled it with dried beans and various nuts from our backyard. All of the squirrels are VERY mad at me right now for taking their winter supply of food. :( I'll give them their nuts back when I empty the jar.
Thank you for viewing my collection of "cloches". Be sure to check out all of the other creations on Marty's A Stroll thru Life. Thanks again.

Oh how pretty. I love all the wonderful acorns and nuts. What a thrill to have them in your backyard. The pears look just awesome too. The jars and cloche are all so pretty. What wonderful gifts. Thanks so much for joining the party. I have had so much fun seeing what everyone has created. Hugs, Marty

These are lovely filled with acorns and nuts and pears are always a favorite of mine. Thanks for sharing. ~ Sarah
ReplyDeleteOk...I need to watch for a $2.00 cloche! Very pretty....
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, especially the one with the metal accents! Be careful with those acorns though. I filled my dough bowl with them last year from our tree, and within a couple days, my bowl was filled with tiny little white worms. I googled it, and it's very common for acorns to have little worms inside of them. Maybe yours will be ok!
ReplyDeleteHello !
ReplyDeleteWow, I love your new layout - that black and pretty blue POP !
Your cloches are so nice and it was so mean of you to steal from the squirrels...LOL !!!
Thanks a bunch for visiting me during/after my surgery, I can hardly wait to get back in the swing of things. I am just visiting my favorite bloggers today :o)

Wonderful display! I like that you added beans to the mix, great idea!
ReplyDeleteIt's me again. Good luck in finding a teaching job. Have you tried substituting in your local school? Many times they will use you to sub and then a maternity leave for a teacher. This can lead to a full time position.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.

Tonya, thanks for the visit to Hyacinths for the Soul and the sweet message you left. I've had the bird tray for many years. It was purchased from a designer. There is no mark other than four Chinese characters within a box. These are all red. The tray is porcelain and the rim is metal. It's a very heavy piece. I first intended to have a base made for it and use it as a side table, but never got around to that project. Have to say it is a lovely piece that I enjoy. Wish I could pass along more information to help you find one.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend. ~ Sarah
Your jars are fabulous!! Isn't is nice to have something decorative that you can change any time you want? Thes is nothing better than an apothacary jar, vase or cloche!! I have gotten so many ideas with this party.
ReplyDeleteI love your acorns. So, you are going to hand them back to the squirrels? lol!! Better do it while they have time to hide them!!
Great post!! :-)
