Mountain Wood-land Fall Tablescape

I am joining Susan from BNOTP for Tablescape Thursday! Fall is in the air....leaves are beginning to change.....football season is in FULL swing.....cooler nights and shorter days! Fall decor is all over BLoGLaNd and in our dining room too! Sit down and stay away while we tour my fall tablescape!

China was a bargain find at a local antique store many years ago. Bought an entire box of these beauties with all kinds of accessories for 65 bucks! I have them displayed throughout my home plus I am able to use them in tablescapes! The pattern is Nasco Mountain Wood-land. The color scheme is perfect for fall!

I LoVe the butter dish nestled among some berries!

Would you like some oil and vinegar on your salad?

Please pass the salt and pepper......

I created the centerpiece a few years ago....I cut the top off of a pumpkin from Hobby Lobby, and I inserted some faux berries and wheat then tied some raffia for a bow.

Love turning pumpkins in different directions to add a little something....something to the arrangement....I think it adds alot of interest!

What I use and where I bought it.......

China: antique store, Nasco Mountain Wood-land

Chargers: Hobby Lobby

Placemats: Wal-Mart on clearance for 1 buck about 2 years ago

Runner: Burlap fabric from Hobby Lobby

Cake Stand: Christmas gift about 3 years ago from a dear friend

It is WoRth your TiMe!!!

I am playing with my

Blue Crown by Tiara and the Famous BIG Lots Gibson dishes.

My dishes are graciously resting on top of a Blue Willow

placemat that was purchased a couple of years ago from Home Goods. Sadly,

I only have a set of 4.....boo hoo!

Trying to be artistic with my new camera!

I layered with 2 different tablecloths. The toile tablecloth was a bargain at TJMaxx several years ago.
Got that baby for 4 bucks!

A bird's eye view of the centerpiece......

used a floral wreath, cake stand, dried hydrangeas, and a blue willow teapot.

Just a closer look in case ya needed it!

I have used the dried hydrangeas for about 15 years now.

They are from my 1st home as a married woman.

I love using pewter with a blue tablescape!

Just tought I would add a little elegance to the mix!

Thanks for stopping by!

All my bunny friends came out to play.......

Better late than never is what I always say! I know a little late for sharing my Easter Tablescape. I have had my table decorated for over a month, but getting the photos uploaded onto computer and then posted is another story! I will keep it short like a fluffy bunny tail!

Centerpiece is nestled on top of a pewter cake plate placed in the center of a floral wreath. The dried hydrangea have been in several TT. I used two different tablecloths....one floral and then burlap.

The light got a little Easter bling bling!

Ol' faithful paper plates from Hobby Lobby, Gibson cup and saucer. The green transferware was purchased at an antique store. Glass tumbler is from Target.

This is what I like to do on a Sunday afternoon....take a peaceful nap!

Petter invited a few of his friends over for a little gathering! The more the merrier!

Happy Easter to all! Hope everyone enjoyed their time with their family and friends! Thanks for stopping by!

Tablescape Thursday~Christmas 2010

I am joining Susan from Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday. I have not participated in TT in many months. I was not planning on this week either, BUT I had taken a couple of pictures of my dining room table. So, here they are..... You have seen these Christmas plates before from last year. I used a piece of burlap as my layering piece, and I placed my sleigh and reindeers on top. I made the sleigh arrangement a few years ago.
The reindeer were purchased a The Dollar Store a few years ago. I placed a few evergreen picks, peppermint ornament balls and other ornaments throughout the arrangement.
Thanks for stopping by. I wish each and every one of you a peaceful, healthy Holiday Season! Merry Christmas to all!!!

Tablescape Thursday~ Eclectic 4th of July

Happy 4th of July to all of you and God Bless America and our Troops.....I am joining Susan from Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday. Be sure to check out all the other talented tablescapers because we all love playing with our dishes.
I have created an eclectic tablescape by using Dollar Store finds, Christmas floral picks, Memaw's fine crystal, wedding gifts, transferware, and Tiara. As you can see, I used a little bit of this and a little bit of that to create my 4th of July Celebration tablescape. Pour a glass of ice cold lemonade and stay awhile.....

Editor's note: A little bit of education on the way....who knew you could learn something from transferware!

Blue Crown Tiara and my wedding stemware

Christmas floral pick reminds me of a red-hot firecracker....don't ya think?

Silver and pearls.....what a combo

Even the red Tiara candlestick deserves a little bling!
