Thrifty Treasures~ Tablescape Treasures

I am joining Rhonda from Southern Hospitality for Thrifty Treasures. Be sure to check out all the other great finds from all the other penny pinching bloggers. :) The other day, I stopped in at a local antique shop. Just browsing, I left with all of these goodies for 20 bucks and a quarter. Of course, I was thinking.....Tablescape Thursday!

12 of these little saucers for 9 bucks....what a deal!!!! Just perfect for spring! Don't ya think?

Grabbed these beauties immediately.....I was on the look-out for dinner napkins and such. Lovin' the buttery yellow color and detail. These were a steal at 3 bucks! So dainty and feminine.

These were another steal at 1 buck for six napkins. Notice the detail and cut work. This was better than yard sale prices......I thought!

Eight more napkins for 2 bucks.....notice the eyelet detail. All about the detail baby!

These items came from an half-price booth.....*happy dance* Candlesticks were 2 bucks and the little pedestal dish was 1 buck. Most of these items will be used in my next Tablescape Thursday. I was VERY pleased with my thrifty finds at an antique shop. Nothing is better than when you find a bargain. Be sure to check out all the other great bargains. Thrifty Mondays

I am joining Southern Hospitality for Thrifty Mondays. Thought I would share some rooster bowls that I purchased about a month ago at TJMaxx. The bowls are hand-painted and were a steal at $1.00 each. Got all that they had....six of them which was the exact number that I needed. Thinking Tablescape Thursday........

Thrifty Thursday~ All this for $1.23...no joke

Last week, I went into our local Salvation Army Store. I have not been in this store in a long time. I noticed the Star of David bud vase immediately for 49 cents. On the next shelf , I found the piece that goes with an oil and vinegar set of the same pattern for 49 cents too.

Walked around a little more.....found this little cutie pie....isn't it the cutest thing ever!!!! It is about 4 inches tall....do not know where I will find candles tiny enough to fit...but that can be another day of shopping and searching. I think I am going to spray paint it a flat black to match some other black iron looking candle holders that I have.

Sorry that you are having to turn your head to the side...but it is worth it to see this little cutie pie....I LOVE tiny cute stuff...don't you?

Thrifty Treasures

Here are all of my goodies that I got Saturday night at our local Hobby Lobby store for 80% off of retail. My mother-in-law and I went to town to do a little shopping at Hobby Lobby and the local mall. Will I keep these beauties for myself or give away as gifts....only time will tell??!!!!

This is a pair of candlesticks. The color is a brownish red with a paisley design. Retail price....$29.99 my price.....$3.00 each!!!! I think these will be given away as a dirty Christmas gift.....if I can let them go.....

This is another pair of candlesticks. They are accented with gold and faux marble. Retail price .....$34.99 each my price......$3.50 each. I may keep these for myself. Do you blame me? Dining room table here we come.....Tablescape Thursday here we come......

Oops....about the size of the photo! The small pineapple is made from very HEAVY cast iron and is a rusty brown color. Actually, I bought two of these cuties! Retail price....$14.99 my price......$1.50 I think is is screamin' Hospitality !!!!! The large gold finale thingy (do not what is it, I just liked it) was originally $34.99.....my price $3.50! They are wanting to be apart of Tablescape Thursday too. Well, I think I did very well on my little shopping spree at Hobby Lobby. I purchased some more items at 50%, but I will save them for another time. Thank you for looking a my first posting of Thrifty Treasures. I LOVE a good bargain....don't you?
