Tablescape Thursday~ Fall Theme

I am joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday. I am a little late because it is Friday....better late than never right??? I am sharing with you my fall tablescape. I have had this completed for about a month now....hope you enjoy!
Sit down and relax as we prepare for a meal.....Let us give thanks!

Nothing says fall like tones of browns, oranges, and golds!

I purchased this dishes at a local antique store several years ago. The pattern is Nasco Mountain Wood Land. I paid 60.00 for a eight place settings with some serving pieces. The serving pieces are used through out the tablescape. See if you can find them. I thought it was a good deal! I have several of these plates hanging through out our home. The gold charger set a nice backdrop for the dishes as well as the stripped placemat. The placemats were a deal from Wal-Mart back in the summer for 1.00 each. Bought the rusty orange napkins at a antique store for 2.00 for the six. Don't you just love a great deal?

Just one of the many brown transferware plates that I have.

A feathered friend flew in for a visit......

The gold tablecloth belonged to my Memaw. I used it as a tablerunner and gathered it in the center.

The cream and sugar set belonged to my other Memaw. I love using things that have special meaning to me.

These hydrangea blooms came from our first home place as a married couple. We purchased my great uncle's home and remodeled it. I dried these blooms during the fall of 1997, and I have kept them ever since. I gave them center-stage as the centerpiece.

Bird's eye view.......my feathered friends flew in for a visit and decided to stay for a while. The bird candle holders (one on each end) were purchased at the Dollar Tree. They are sooo cute!

Night time has fallen.....candles are lit

The Iris tea glass belonged to my Memaw Smith. Love the amber glow!

Thank you for visiting my Tablescape....hope you enjoyed it. Be sure to visit all the other wonderful TT. Thank you so much!

  1. My late mother also had some iris pattern glassware. My sister has it now. I don't know if it is valuable, but it holds sentimental value for me.
